Out of Hours

If you need advice outside of the practice opening hours our self-help page or your local pharmacist may be able to help in the first instance.

If you feel you need to speak to a Doctor please ring 111 to access the Out of Hours service and to enable you to be seen more quickly in an out of hours centre.

A&E departments assess and treat patients with serious injuries or illnesses. Generally, you should visit A&E or call 999 for life-threatening emergencies, such as:

  • loss of consciousness
  • acute confused state and fits that are not stopping
  • persistent, severe chest pain
  • breathing difficulties
  • severe bleeding that cannot be stopped
